The Bull is a Grade II-listed coaching inn, gloriously situated on the Market Square in Fairford, a picture-perfect market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds.
This superb venue offers both restaurant and private dining spaces and a traditional pub bar, with open fires, and serving local craft beers, spirits and great wines. There’s also a traditional vaulted barn, The Bull Room, for weddings and parties for up to 60 guests.
Dating from the 15th century, The Bull is made up of two neighbouring pubs, The Bull and The George, which were later joined together.
The Bull was originally a Monk’s Chanting House, and in the 18th and 19th centuries a famous coaching inn on the London to Gloucester turnpike road, with stabling for 30 horses.
A secret tunnel was recently discovered, leading from the hotel to the medieval church of St Mary’s nearby. The George was once the town’s post office, and later, a pub serving land workers.
Five Alls is an 18th-century traditional English coaching inn in a charming village setting. It has nine stylish and individually furnished rooms, all en-suite. Four of our rooms are located above the Inn and the other five, newly built, cottage-style bedrooms are situated in a quiet corner of the garden.
These include two double and two twin rooms and a Family Suite, for two adults and up to three children. Alternatively, the Family Suite can also be used by two adults with space for additional seating.
Expect high quality beds with duck feather duvets, flat screen TVs, en-suite bathrooms with luxurious walk-in showers and Ren products.
Decorated in neutral colours, all rooms feature quirky locally sourced artwork and artifacts and locally made woollen throws to ensure a comfortable stay.
We are a village pub and welcome everyone. We promote and sell local beers, including craft ales, bottled beers and ciders.
We also carefully source locally crafted soft drinks made using Cotswolds produce, as well as seasonal cocktails.
Based in one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles, the area around Kelmscott offers wonderful walking and cycling country, mostly on the flat, with stunning views in every direction.
An idyllic stretch of the Thames Path is just a stone’s throw from our front door.
We are dedicated to showcasing the best locally sourced, seasonal produce on our daily-changing menu of modern British comfort cooking.
Outside, our delightful, cottage-style garden is perfect for summer dining and drinks – the log fires in the restaurant and bar roar in the winter months.
